1. Disconnect Your Instagram Account
You can disconnect an Instagram Professional account from SMM Assistent directly in the application:
- Sign in to your account at app.smmassistent.com.
- Open the Instagram accounts section.
- Select the connected Instagram account.
- Choose the option to disconnect the account.
Disconnecting the account stops SMM Assistent from requesting new information from Instagram through that connection.
2. Request Deletion of Stored Data
To request deletion of data stored by SMM Assistent, send an email to:
Use the subject line “SMM Assistent Data Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your SMM Assistent account. If the request concerns an Instagram connection, also include the Instagram username.
We may ask you to confirm control of the relevant SMM Assistent account before processing the request. This verification helps prevent unauthorized deletion requests.
3. Data Covered by the Request
Depending on the scope of your request, deletion may include:
- your connected Instagram account information;
- Instagram account identifiers and access credentials;
- Instagram profile information and profile snapshots;
- imported media, captions and related metadata;
- Instagram media insights and performance metrics;
- Instagram synchronization history;
- notes and enrichment data associated with imported media;
- other personal data associated with your SMM Assistent account, where applicable.
4. Processing Time
We will review and process a valid deletion request without undue delay and normally within 30 days. We will notify you when the request has been completed or if additional information is needed.
Some information may be retained when required by applicable law, for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
5. Remove SMM Assistent from Instagram
You can also revoke the application's access through the settings of your Instagram or Meta account. Revoking access prevents further access through the revoked authorization, but it may not automatically delete information already stored by SMM Assistent. To delete stored information, submit a deletion request using the instructions above.
